The annual Festival of Roses, hosted by the Butte Rose Society, is set for 1-4:30 pm, October 30 at the Chico Community Center, 545 Vallombrosa Ave. Several events are designed for youth 17 years old and younger, including a Junior Class for those who want to enter a bloom or spray in competition.
Youth will have the opportunity to join the Junior Arrangement Class with the theme of “At the Zoo,” and also can enter their photos in the rose photography competition. There is no entry fee and exhibitors do not need to be members of the Butte Rose Society
