In 2014 I moved to Redding from Oregon to be nearer to my 5-year-old son and I very quickly found a copy of North State Parent Magazine and realized what a great resource this magazine truly is. Every week I would thumb my way through the pages reading articles on nutrition or local events being held and it helped me shape my weekends and made me more familiar with the North State and all the many things that happen here. 

After all this magazine had done for me to help get us plugged in locally, 10 years later they are still a part of our lives and still helping us fill up our weekends with things we love to do. So many thanks to all the staff at North State Parent Magazine for all your work and devotion to keeping us parents inform. What you do matters to many and my little family of 2 want to give a very big thank you for all you do in helping to enrich our lives.

Happy Birthday North State Parent! You have been a staple in my parenting life for over a decade now. I've connected with businesses, farms, enjoyed the articles, and learned new recipes. I really appreciate that you are building community through your publication. My family and I just went pomegranate picking at Hillside Poms, which we discovered through NSP. We pressed our own pom juice and took bags of delicious no-spray (and very affordable) pomegranates home to share with friends. Thank you SO much for everything.

We had a great year! So many different types of people showed up to learn and just enjoy the talks. So, thank you (and NSP) again for helping us to organize and promote these highly valued monthly events.

I look forward to my daughter bringing home an issue each month from school. It’s loaded with current events and activities that I wouldn’t find advertised anywhere else. It’s my go-to publication to find activities to do with my kids. I enjoy finding out about new resources around the North State that cater to families.
