art-0613-cookingWant to learn how to select, purchase and prepare healthy foods on a limited budget? Opt for Healthy Living can help! Teens, adults and families are invited to enroll in a fun hands-on Get Cookin’ class series – improve your cooking skills by preparing and enjoying tasty and nutritious low-cost meals.

Get Cookin’ classes are two hours long, one night a week for six weeks. They are offered in Chico, Oroville and Thermalito on an ongoing basis year-round as classes fill. The program is free, and participants leave each class with a bag containing ingredients from that day’s recipe, so the dish can be recreated quickly at home!

My 14 year old son and I want to learn how to cook together. He loves food and he wants to learn how to cook. Are there any cooking classes offered in Chico for teens and their parents?
