Gather the whole family and enjoy fresh food, friendly faces, and a welcoming community atmosphere at the Redding Farmers Market!
Musical Guest: Dave Short, founder of Dave Short’s Sax Therapy, has been part of the Redding music scene for years, performing at the Cascade Theatre, Old City Hall and other local venues. His trio, featuring Bruce Calin on bass and Cleaveland Boney on keyboard, performs jazz standards with an emphasis on Bossa Nova.
Operated by the Shasta Growers Association (SGA)—one of California’s first farmers market associations, established in 1977—the market is dedicated to supporting local growers and fresh, seasonal food.
SGA operates four certified markets (three in Redding and one in Burney), all approved by the Shasta County Agricultural Commissioner and the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
