The Shasta County Arts Council invites artists to submit work for Across This Land: Celebrating 250 Years of America, a juried gallery exhibition exploring the people, places, traditions, landscapes, and stories that shape the American experience.

Exhibition Dates: July 3–31, 2026
Location: Shasta County Arts Council Gallery, Redding

Artist Submission Details

• Open to artists 18 years and older
• Submit up to 3 original works
• All media welcome, including:
  • Painting
  • Photography
  • Sculpture
  • Jewelry
  • Fiber arts
  • Ceramics
  • Fine crafts

Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly, from sweeping landscapes and local communities to family traditions, Americana, and everyday moments that reflect life across the nation.

Important Dates

Application Deadline: Friday, June 19, 2026, by 4:00 PM
Exhibition Opening: Friday, July 3, 2026, during First Friday
