A free monthly publication

Celebrate the birds of summer with a fun, family-friendly nature walk hosted by the Mount Shasta Area Audubon and the Mount Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center. Participants will explore bird habitats, migration patterns, nesting behavior, bird language, and identification skills through hands-on activities and guided observation.
Whether you’re a beginning birder, an experienced bird enthusiast, or simply looking for a fun outdoor family activity, all are welcome.
Where: Greenhorn Park (Upper Parking Lot), Yreka
What to Bring: Comfortable shoes, layers, sunscreen, water, snacks, and binoculars if you have them.
This event is open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
