Join the community in raising awareness about elder abuse during this meaningful public event hosted in partnership with Shasta County Adult Protective Services.

Purple lawn flags will be planted as a visual reminder of the 2,992 reports of elder abuse made to Shasta County APS last year.

The public is invited to attend, wear purple, and help plant flags. A brief statement will be shared by Health & Human Services Agency Adult Protective Services.

Help bring awareness, honor older adults, and support a safer community for seniors.
