About the Speaker:
Anecia Johnson is a Chico-based author, educator, and founder of Amma Culture, an initiative focused on education, science, and the arts. Drawing from her roots in Chico’s Black community, her work explores identity, history, and cultural understanding. Through writing, speaking, and community engagement, she encourages honest dialogue and a deeper awareness of stories that are often overlooked but essential to understanding the full American experience.
