Get ready to explore the universe—right here in Redding! SCOE and Friends of the Schreder Planetarium, invites you to a FREE scelebrating the 101st anniversary of planetariums worldwide!
Bring the whole family for an afternoon of hands-on fun, discovery, and awe-inspiring science experiences for all ages.
- Planetary Passport Adventure with activity stations, stickers, and prizes
- Solar observing with the Shasta Astronomy Club (weather permitting)
- Immersive 20-minute planetarium shows inside the dome
- Prize drawings every 30 minutes for planetarium tickets
- 16 interactive exhibits—create, explore, and experiment!
Plus, enjoy activities hosted by Whiskeytown Environmental School Community, Turtle Bay Exploration Park, and Friends of Schreder Planetarium.
