Together with California Volunteers, Office of the Governor we’re taking meaningful action to support local projects that strengthen neighborhoods, protect green spaces and help prepare communities for wildfires, extreme heat and other natural disasters.
Volunteers will be assisting the BEC team in constructing compost bays at our Oak Way Community Garden. Utilizing a variety of hand tools (hammers, nails, screw driver etc), together we will build a four bay system for our Drop in the Bucket Program.
Community Climate Action Days are more than service opportunities, they highlight collaboration, local pride and a shared commitment to building safer, greener and more resilient communities.
