The Sea Scouts Ship Shasta Kraken is hosting their first ever fundraising dinner.

The crew, all teen girls, planned the event and they have a pasta dinner, beer and wine, auctions, and a DJ lined up for our entertainment.

Sea Scouts is a youth maritime program, a branch of Scouting America, and the girl’s ship “Shasta Kraken” is the only Sea Scout group here in the far north state. We meet every week for all types of training and boating including competitive rowing, sailing, swimming, safety training, and serving as crew on long cruises on large power boats in the Delta, Bay, and along the California Coast.
