This Habitat for Humanity of Butte County event in Paradise celebrates local humanitarian efforts, acknowledges the progress, importance and needs of affordable homeownership opportunities in rural communities, and invites the public to get involved with the efforts of annually building 6-10 houses in our community. It also celebrates the profound impact former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn Carter, had on Habitat for Humanity International’s mission of building homes, communities and hope.
