Join us in celebrating California’s 175th anniversary at William B. Ide Adobe SHP. Costumed volunteers will welcome you to the 1850s and take you back in time to California’s early statehood. Visitors will learn about California’s beginnings, including the story of the daring Bear Flag Revolt, and create their bear flag to take home. Guided tours of our 1850s homestead will take place at 10:30 am and 12:00 pm. Visit the heritage garden to see what pioneers grew. Come inside the visitor center to view our “Flags Flown Over California” exhibit to learn how many countries once claimed our magnificent state.
