Divine Sundays is excited to bring back the 3rd Annual Chico Day of the Dead Festival! Bringing together cultural education and community celebration, the Day of the Dead Festival is the perfect place to spend the afternoon. After 2 years of hosting this lively cultural event at the Barn at Meriam Park, we have outgrown the space and moved to the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds Pavillion! With this move we expanded our vendor attendance to over 100 local makers, artists, and sellers, with 20 of those making up a diverse lineup of food stalls and trucks. We are also making space for a large dance floor to accommodate 3 live musical groups ranging from Mariachi, Grupo Norteno, and Cumbia. As well as 5 dance groups showcasing Folkorico and Aztec Dancing.

“Though Día de los Muertos is traditionally celebrated in Mexican and Hispanic communities, its themes of remembrance and love are universal.” said Lucia Mercado, owner of Divine Sundays. 

Event Highlights:
