Adult Mental Health First Aid Training

  • This event has passed.

October 30, 2025 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Mental Health First Aid is a FREE training that gives people the skills to identify, understand and respond to people experiencing a mental health, substance use or suicide challenge.

Who should take the training? Everyone. It is not just for professionals. Community members, parents, volunteers, and more, will gain useful knowledge and confidence to help someone in crisis. Adult Mental Health First Aid:

  • Teaches risk factors and warning signs for adults
  • Provides strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations
  • Gives resources for where to turn for help
  • Focuses on recovery and resiliency – the belief that individuals experiencing these challenges can and do get better and use their strengths to stay well

In addition to the in person class, each student will be required to complete 2 hours of online pre-work.

*Register at our Event Website link below.
