Juneteenth marks the emancipation of the last enslaved African Americans in the United States on June 19, 1865. It’s a time to reflect, honor resilience, and uplift Black culture and contributions through community, education, and fun.
There will be music, gospel hymns, games for all ages, poetry readings, a farmers’ market, free ice cream, games, prizes, and more!
We’d love for you to be part of the celebration—whether you come to enjoy the festivities, volunteer, or help spread the word. Bring your friends and family, and let’s make this a day to remember!
If you have any questions or want to get involved, feel free to reach out to us at The Mt. Shasta Property Guide or Weed Chamber of Commerce.
Looking forward to celebrating with you!
