Aikido Shizenkai (teen/adult)

  • This event has passed.

March 3 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Aikido Shizenkai is the study of a traditional Japanese budo — martial techniques, strategies, and philosophies taught in the Hawaiian tradition of kokua (to help one another). Our study is guided by the founder’s favorite saying, “Masa Katsu A Gatsu,” or True Victory is Self Victory.  The art incorporates rolling and falling, throws, strikes, and joint locks, and some weapons techniques for the wooden sword and short staff.  Kata, or pre-arranged forms, are the primary means of transmission with Randori, or free play being another training aid.  There are no competitions.

The cost below is the monthly fee.
