Now celebrating its 50th year, this vibrant event in Downtown Chico offers complimentary ice-cold watermelon slices and showcases the diverse local retail shops and restaurants.

The watermelon slicing stations will open at 11:00am, with the main station hosted by the Downtown Chico Business Association (DCBA) on W 3rd Street between Broadway and Main Street.

Visitors can look forward to downtown sidewalks transformed into a lively marketplace, where merchants and eateries come together to showcase a wide array of products and cuisines. From trendy clothing boutiques and artisanal shops to cozy cafes and gourmet restaurants, attendees will enjoy an array of offerings, special deals, and promotions.

Street closures in the downtown area will begin at 9:00am on the day of the event and reopen at 6:00pm. This includes W 3rd Street between Broadway and Main Street.
