55th Annual Shasta College Spring Plant Sale

April 3 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Gardeners will find thousands of plants for sale, including annuals for bedding and cut flowers, perennials, herbs, succulents, and a wide variety of vegetable starts. Shoppers can also browse trees, shrubs, California native plants, and houseplants. Many selections are unusual or hard to find and have been chosen specifically because they thrive in the Redding area. Students have also grown a diverse selection of Certified Organic vegetable plants.

Visitors can explore beautiful plant displays highlighting many of the varieties available at the sale. The event is organized and staffed by the Shasta College Horticulture Club, and all plants are sustainably grown by students. Proceeds support the Shasta College Horticulture Program and student scholarships.

Members of the California Native Plant Society, Shasta Master Gardeners, and Shasta College horticulture students and faculty will be available to answer gardening questions and offer advice. The California Native Plant Society will also be selling a selection of California native plants to support local student scholarships and habitat restoration.
