Do you have a student who is motivated to learn and committed to the practice of music?  If so, Ms. Sherilyn Greenlaw is the instructor you are looking for!

As a child Sherilyn discovered that music and creativity were at the core of who she is. Sherilyn is grateful to God that she has been blessed to do work that she loves and has the ripple effect of enriching the lives of others! She began studying music at age 10 and became a published composer and singer at age 15.

Sherilyn is a CA Clear – Credentialed with CLAD Multiple Subjects Teacher with Supplemental Authorization to teach Music, and she currently teaches part time at Redding School of the Arts.

Sherilyn’s music classes are year-round at The Reading Basket on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:30 – 5:00 p.m.

“I am eager to accept more motivated, piano or recorder loving students, whose parents are willing to help ensure their child has regular practice times.”

Tuition is charged by the month, paid in advance, based upon whether weekly lessons are 30 or 55 minutes. If a family has two children under 7 wanting to have 15 minute lessons, that can be arranged at no additional charge. Generally speaking, most students at the beginning level do well with a 30 minute weekly lesson. Intermediate level students may need a 55 minute lesson. The base charge is $40 / per 30 minute lesson, $72 per 55 minute lesson per student. Students are also responsible to pay for their instruction materials.

 Additionally, upon request, Sherilyn will be happy to arrange a 1 hour small group instruction (due to space)  1 x / month on Friday or Saturday afternoons for Creative Movement with Worship Flags or Sm. Streamers. Limit of 5 people, any age. The fee for 5 would be $20 each. This could be a fun family activity!
