National

4-H Youth Development Program. National program for youth ages 5-19. Provides opportunities to build confidence, learn responsibility, make friends, share interests & develop life-long skills. 4-H Million Trees Project. Youth-founded service-learning project to inspire 4-H youth to plant 1 million trees to slow global climate change. Teen Laura Webber is spearheading a drive to plant 1 million trees across the U.S. So far she has enlisted 30,000 members of 4-H clubs who are helping out, with over 263,000 trees planted. www.4hmilliontrees.org.

Boy Scouts of America. A national program provides boys & young men with an opportunity to try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence & character, & reinforces the importance of citizenship.
