Teen Employment

Teen Employment

Some teens benefit from getting practical work experience while still “minors” (under age 18). State and federal regulations restrict the number of hours a minor may work or place other regulations on teen employment, so be sure to look up that information before getting a work permit at your child’s school or on the California Department of Industrial Relations website.
