(Day Camps) Students have fun while learning singing, drama, movement, musicality and social skills. Instructors specialize in performing arts education and are trained specifically to work with children on the autism spectrum. Participants are placed in the class most suitable to their unique skills and needs, with one teacher for every three students. Each session culminates in a talent showcase the public is invited to attend.

(Residential Camp) Okizu is a Northern California non-profit that provides a variety of camp and peer support programs to children and families affected by childhood cancer. Programs include Oncology Camp, SIBS (Special and Important Brothers and Sisters) Camp and Family Camp, where families can participate in activities like fishing, archery, ropes course and boating. (Residential Camp) Camp OSP is a camping program focused on children exposed to domestic violence and related physical and sexual abuse. At Camp OSP, children are able to connect over campfire sharing, participate in team-building activities and learn valuable lessons while overcoming trauma.

The Consortium offers a directory of camps for children with asthma nationwide, including Northern California camps, helping advance the positive impact camps have on the lives of children with asthma.

(Day Programs and Overnight Camps) Shasta Disabled Sports hosts outdoor events for all ages and with any disability. “Lake Days” on Lake Siskiyou include kayaking, fishing, swimming and lunch.
