Every November, National Adoption Day is celebrated across the nation to finalize thousands of adoptions and raise awareness about the nearly 108,000 children in U.S. foster care who are currently waiting for a loving family to call their own. Butte County Adoption Services. Facilitates adoptions of abused &/or neglected children in foster care when family reunification efforts fail. Requires dependency court involvement.
