Chico Corsa Cycling Club. Dedicated to advancing the sport of cycling. Riders of all levels meet monthly for group rides, rain or shine.

Annual Biking Events

Anderson Century Ride. Annual in May. 2017 ride was canceled but will return in 2018. Offers a wide range of challenges for all ages & levels, with views of Mount Shasta & Mount Lassen. Benefits local Lions Clubs programs.

The Wildcat Granfondo; Palo Cedro. Annual in Oct. Riders ranging from elite to recreational & beginner. Cyclists ride together as a community for the camaraderie, scenic views, personal achievement & a chance to win prizes. Funds will be used to promote awareness of helmet use, educate proper fit & purchase helmets though industry partners to distribute affordably to families through local events,

educational programs & schools.

Redding Mountain Biking, Inc. Provides weekly rides & annual events appealing to both newbies & enthusiasts of all ages.

Ride Redding. An advocacy group for cyclists of all disciplines focused on education, transportation planning & outreach to riders of all ages & abilities. Ride Redding’s goal is improved cycling safety & local infrastructure supporting recreation tourism & a healthy lifestyle.

Shasta Wheelmen Bicycling Club; Redding. Family-oriented cycling group welcomes riders of all ages. Advocates for safe local cycling experiences; offers club rides on varied terrains with featured guests. Hosts the annual Oct Jamboree Century ride.



Annual Biking Events

Biketoberfest; McCloud. Annual in Sep. Fun event in a charming historic town features rides for all ages & levels of experience. Proceeds support the development of the Great Shasta Rail Trail. (530) 964-3113.

Castle Crags Century Ride; Mt. Shasta. Annual in June, this “altitude adjustment” ride through beautiful Mt. Shasta area is hosted by the Mt. Shasta Rotary Club. Offers five ride options that follow one or two loops that end in the Mt. Shasta City Park.

Humbug Hurry Up; Yreka. This annual June event features mountain biking racing that’s fun for all ages. Its five courses will start at Lower Greenhorn Park & will include a kids race.

The Art of Survival Century; Tulelake. Choose routes of Century, Metric Century, 45mi, 16mi family-friendly or a 20mi mountain bike route through the Modoc Forest.

YMCA Mountain Bike Racing Series; Yreka. Annual in Jun. This competitive & challenging three-part series of evening races takes place in Upper Greenhorn Park. Beginner to expert levels ride distances ranging from 5-15 miles. Register at the YMCA office.

Great Shasta Rail Trail Association; McCloud & Burney. This nonprofit invites community participation in planning trail amenities & helping maintain a scenic 80mi recreational bike trail on a converted railroad corridor from McCloud to Burney.

Jefferson Mountain Bike Association; Yreka. This local chapter of the International Mountain Biking Association focuses on preserving, producing & promoting amazing mountain biking experiences in the Yreka area.

Mount Shasta Mountain Bike Association. Non-profit dedicated to designing, building & maintaining world-class trail systems in the Mt. Shasta area. Official chapter of the International Mountain Biking Association. (530) 440-5921.

Ride on Race Amateur Sport Team; Siskiyou County. Promotes family-fun racing in far Northern CA. Compete in races of 30 min. to one hour around one to two-mile tracks in varied locations. Mud, barriers, steep runs up hills & pavement test your fitness & riding skills.
