Here at Wyntour Gardens, we care about our plants and we care about our  customers.

Whether you are passionate about gardening or you lack a green thumb, our highly-qualified staff are here to help.

For those who want to learn more, we offer a wide variety of free, informative  classes and fun workshops throughout the year.

We grow the majority of our bedding plants ourselves, and the rest are purchased locally, so you can be assured of quality plants that are acclimated to our area and that are grown as organically as possible.

Ours is the most complete garden center north of Sacramento. We carry a large selection of trees, bedding plants, herbs, organic vegetable starts, seeds, berries, fruit trees, water plants and pond supplies. We also carry a large selection of yard & garden tools, garden products, fertilizers, statuary, fountains, bird baths, wrought iron, and glazed ceramic pots. We have a gift shop full of wonderful treasures, and have gift cards available.

Wyntour Garden’s owners, George and Carol Winter, are committed to leading the way in horticultural trends. George originally followed his father’s footsteps into the nursery business, and took over the family business, the Red Bluff Garden Center, in the 70s when his father retired. Wanting to expand, George established Wyntour Gardens in Redding in 1992.  He says, “Customers are what make our Nursery great, and I am honored to have served some local families for several generations.”

Our staff loves sharing our knowledge with others. Our goal is to help you have the best garden possible, and to make Wyntour Gardens your partner for successful gardening!
