August 6-9, 2015, at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, CA.
So much more than just a conference – The Homeschool Association of California’s annual “HSC Conference” is a celebration, a party, and a statewide gathering of homeschoolers and their families for learning, friendship, support and fun!
Featuring some of the best known speakers in the homeschooling and parenting community, HSC’s annual conference is a place to explore, relax, learn and make new friends. It’s a place where everything you need to know about homeschooling is under one roof for an entire weekend!
HSC is proud to host this four-day event for anyone interested in homeschooling. Whether you are just getting started or have been homeschooling for a while, they welcome you to join in. This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Peter Gray, a psychology professor at Boston College who is the author of Free to Learn: Why Unleashing the Instinct to Play Will Make Our Children Happier, More Self-Reliant, and Better Students for Life.
There are also 130 sessions for all ages: presentations, workshops and fun activities for adults, families, teens and young adults. Special events and evening programs are designed to create community while they delight and entertain: choose from a Talent Show, musical guests, or come prepared to step onto the stage for HSC’s version of the famous TED Talks.
Attendees come from around the state of California and beyond. The event includes a Local Groups Fair so you can find resources and connections in your own area. The HSC Conference truly is the place to inspire and support your journey in homeschooling. Go see what they are all about! The details can be found online at
